Camera Obscura
Boat Tour Berlin
See Berlin Upside Down From Inside a Floating Darkroom
"Most tourists see Berlin from a bus. You'll see it from inside a 19th-century optical device that turns the city upside down and captures the transformation of light into art."
You can be part of this.
Not Another Museum.
Not Another Walking Tour.
You want to skip the tourist crowds and experience something unique.
Board a boat that is the camera. Step into the darkroom while cruising the Spree River.
Light from the Sun draws Berlin upside down on the wall in front of you. Watch the image form through the lens as the boat moves.
Artist explains the process. You witness light becoming art — the same physics Leonardo da Vinci observed in the Renaissance.
This exists nowhere else in Berlin.
